ALBOP Pharmacy Technician Registration Explained

Register through the ALBOP Licensure Gateway before you begin approved training. Official Board fees listed on albop.com are $60 for the application and $40 for the background check ($100 total). Complete a criminal background review and wait for Board approval. Once registered, you can work under supervision and must finish board-approved training within six months of your registration date.

Step-by-step: Licensure Gateway

  1. Create an account at the ALBOP Licensure Gateway.
  2. Select pharmacy technician registration and complete the application.
  3. Pay fees online ($60 application + $40 background check, $100 total as listed on albop.com).
  4. Complete the criminal background check through ALBOP's vendor ($40).
  5. Wait for approval. Processing time varies; check your Gateway dashboard.
  6. Once approved, you may begin working under pharmacist supervision.
  7. Enroll in approved training and finish within six months per Rule 680-X-2-.14.

After you are registered
